Stipend and Duration

Stipend

SHARE is a paid internship program. SHARE scholars will receive a stipend of $6,000 for the 10-week program and are expected to dedicate their time fully to SHARE (40 hrs/week). This stipend is expected to help partially cover costs of living while residing in Washington, D.C.

For participants from outside the Washington, DC metropolitan area, we offer an additional $2,500 stipend to help cover housing costs for GW Housing only. If you decided to find housing outside of GW housing, you will be responsible for your own housing costs. 

Duration 

SHARE is a 10-week intensive summer internship.  The first two weeks of the program will be held virtually. The 8 in-person weeks will be held at the George Washington University - Foggy Bottom campus in Washington, D.C.
