In Spring 2017, EOH faculty published on a wide range of topics, including effects of prenatal exposure to tobacco smoke, the impacts of male circumcision, psychological distress among slaughterhouse workers, and how cookstoves in Mozambique can impact air pollution and climate change.

Professor Lance Price, who also directs the Milken Institute SPH’s Antibiotic Resistance Action Center, and Research Scientist Maliha Aziz are coauthors of a paper in the Journal of Bacteriology: “Inactivation of transcriptional regulators during within-household evolution of Escherichia coli.”.

Professor Emeritus of Pathology and Surgery (SMHS) and EOH (MI-SPH) Dr. Arnold M. Schwartz wrote a summary overview on "Immunotherapy in Lung Cancer" for the May issue of Chest Physician, published by the American College of Chest Physicians.

Professorial Lecturer Jay Graham is a coauthor of one of the first studies to investigate the trade-offs for children’s health associated with living in homes with livestock. “Livestock Ownership among Rural Households and Child Morbidity and Mortality: An Analysis of Demographic Health Survey Data from 30 Sub-Saharan African Countries (2005-2015),” was published in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
